SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 24 Relating to the Kosovo                          
conflict and to Alaskans serving in the military forces in the area of         
the conflict, was read the second time.                                        
                                                                               
Senator Ward, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                 
adoption of the State Affairs Committee Substitute offered on page             
1247. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION                        
NO. 24(STA) was adopted and read the second time.                              
                                                                               
Senator Taylor offered Amendment No. 1 :

	after Senators                                                                
	insert , and the Honorable Don Young, U.S.                                    
Representative;                                                                
                                                                               
Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption              
of Amendment No. 1. Without objection, Amendment No. 1 was                     
adopted.                                                                       
                                                                               
Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that the                      
resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and              
placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.
